Full day tour of Rome

Full day
Meet and greet in Rome, the capital of Italy, nicknamed the ,Eternal City, and the ,City of Many Cities,.
Rome
Rome is the capital of Italy, nicknamed the ,Eternal City, and the ,City of Many Cities, because of its long history. The city"s ancient architecture (the Flavian amphitheatre, the Colosseum, the Colosseum, the Circus, the Temple of Panteion, the public baths of Diocletian, etc.) and artistic treasures.

The Roman Colosseum
Of all the monumental buildings in Rome, the Colosseum is one of the most breathtaking. It was the place where gladiators fought for their lives, prisoners fought hungry lions and was the great symbol of eternal Rome. The British historian Beda Venerabilis (c. 673-735) wrote: ,When the Colosseum stands, Rome will exist; when it falls, Rome will fall.,
Optional items and ticket prices: Colosseum 17€ per person (tickets subject to seasonal changes and without notice)

Constantine"s Arch of Triumph
Constantine"s Arch of Triumph was built to commemorate Constantine the Great"s victory over his rival Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge (northwest of today"s Villa Borghese) in 312 AD, uniting the Roman Empire. The triumphal arch is 25.7 metres long, 7.4 metres wide and 21 metres high, with three arches, and is made of Roman cement. Most of the sculptures on the Arch are in relief and were collected from the buildings of successive emperors, the most famous of which are the eight reliefs at the top, which were removed from the monument to the Emperor Marcus Aurelius. When Napoleon came to Rome, he saw the Arc de Triomphe and was so impressed that he used it as a model for the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

Trevi Fountain (Wishing Fountain)
The Trevi Fountain was immortalised by Fellini"s film La Dolce Vita. The fountain"s sculptures of seahorses, one violent and one gentle, symbolise the vagaries of the sea and the wonders of fate - throw a coin into the pool with your left hand around your right shoulder and you"ll return to Rome in search of romance; put in two and you"ll fall in love with an Italian; put in three and you"ll marry him. If you have other wishes, make them all at once.

Vatican
Vatican is the world"s smallest tourist destination, a mere 0.44 square kilometres of land, but full of energy. When the Pope speaks, his words immediately become the creed of more than a billion Catholics around the world, and Vatican is the last of the Papal States. For more than 1,000 years, the Papal States included Rome and much of central Italy, but after the unification of Italy in 1861, the Pope was forced to abandon his territory. Relations between Italy and the landless papacy were always tense until 1929 when Mussolini and Pius D. signed the Lateran Treaty, which formally established the Vatican State. The Vatican Museum is a collection of works of art, mostly from the Renaissance, such as Michelangelo"s Genesis and The Last Supper, and is well worth a visit. Of course, the museum"s architecture is also worthy of praise, in addition to its collections.

Basilica di San Pietro in Vatican
The Basilica di San Pietro in Vatican is not only magnificent, it is also a monument to the gift of Bernini. The deep interior of the church has a capacity of over 60,000 people and houses a wealth of breathtaking artworks, including the Pieta by Michelangelo. In the centre of the church is the 29-metre high baroque canopy designed by Bernini. It is supported by four spiral columns and is cast in Pantheon bronze. It covers the papal altar, beneath which lies the tomb of San Pietro.

Florence
Florence is a city with a long cultural history, known as the ,Fiorentina,. It is both the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and a world-renowned cultural destination. It is also the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and a world-famous cultural and tourist attraction, with many famous sons: Leonardo da Vinci, Dante, Machiavelli and Michelangelo - names that will never be forgotten.

Palazzo Vecchio (exterior)
The Palazzo Vecchio (Old Palace) is the former town hall of the Florentine Republic, and the entrance to the building is decorated with the city"s coat of arms. Michelangelo"s famous sculpture David was originally placed outside the door of Palazzo Vecchio, but was later moved to the collection of the Accademia Gallery, where a replica now sits in its original position.

Cathedral of Our Lady of the Flowers
The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore, also known as the Basilica of Our Lady of the Flowers, is one of the five largest churches in the world. It is one of the five largest churches in the world. Florence is the Italian word for the capital of flowers. It was translated by the great poet Xu Zhimo as ,Fiorentina,, a name far more poetic and colourful than the other translation, ,Florence,, and more in keeping with the atmosphere of the ancient city. Located in the historic centre of Florence, the church complex consists of the cathedral, bell tower and baptistery, and was inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1982 as part of the historic centre of Florence.

The Old Bridge of Florence
The Ponte Vecchio, also known as the Old Bridge, is a medieval stone arch bridge built in Florence, Italy, over the Arno River, on which shops still exist to this day. Originally a butcher"s shop, the shops on the bridge are now mostly jewellers and tourist souvenir sellers. The old bridge is also considered to be the oldest surviving stone bridge with closed arched shoulders and circular arches in Italy.

Leaning Tower of Pisa
Drive to Pisa to see the white marble Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of Italy"s national treasures, which was originally built with a tilt in mind and became an architectural wonder of the world. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is the freestanding bell tower of the Cathedral of Pisa, in the Piazza della Miracia, north of the city of Pisa in Tuscany, Italy. The large lawns of the square are scattered with a group of religious buildings: the cathedral (built in 1063-13th century), the baptistery (built in 1153-14th century), the bell tower (i.e. the Leaning Tower of Pisa) and the cemetery (the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa was actually part of the church of Pisa (duomo), and the whole church building is divided into The main church, the baptistery and the bell tower are the three main parts. The main church is built in the Latin cross style, with some elegantly designed pillars; the baptistery is on the front, built immediately after the church; at the rear, a Romanesque building with a dome was built more than a century later.

The Cathedral of Pisa
The Cathedral of Pisa, also known as the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta), is located in the Piazza della Miracia in Pisa, Tuscany, central Italy, and is the cathedral of the Catholic Archdiocese of Pisa.

Baptistery of Pisa (exterior)
The Baptistery of Pisa, built in 1152, is a Romanesque and Gothic building with a huge dome 35 metres in diameter and four exquisitely carved doors, which give a strong impression of the exterior of the Baptistery. The interior has excellent light and acoustics.

CinqueTerre→Serravalle Premium Outlets→Milan

Full day

Early morning departure from the hotel to Manarola and Riomaggiore, two of the most famous towns in the Cinque Terre. After a short shopping trip to the famous branded village of Serravalle, return to Milan.

Five Fishing Villages
The Five Fishing Villages (Italian: CinqueTerre, also known as Cinque Terre) are located in the Liguria region of Italy, on the sea coast of the province of La Spezia, and are home to the towns of MonterossoalMare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The five cliffside villages of MonterossoalMare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are collectively referred to as the ,cliffside towns,. The five colourful villages are dotted along the steep cliffs, with stunning sea and mountain views, and the famous "Route of Love", which is full of romance. The town was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997, along with Portovenere, Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto, and was declared a National Park in 1999.

Manarola
One of the five towns of the Five Fishing Villages. At the end of the Cornelia-Manarola trail, the colourful Manarola suddenly and miraculously comes into view. Similar to Corniglia, Manarola is built on a rocky outcrop. There is no beach, no harbour, just a small landing platform; on a good day, the platform and the surrounding rocks are full of sunbathers, which is one of the sights. The town of Manarola is said to have the most vines of the five fishing villages and Sciacchetrà is a famous dessert wine in the area.

Riomaggiore
One of the five towns of the Five Fishing Villages, it is the most (eastern) southern and largest town. The coastal walk from Manarola to Riomaggiore, known as the Via dell"Amore, is the shortest and easiest section of the trail that connects the five fishing villages, about one kilometre long, with a flat pavement cut into the cliffs not too high above the ground, with the rocky mountains on one side and the waves of the Ligurian Sea on the other. There is a ,modernist, kissing statue on the road, and the surrounding parapets are covered with concentric locks. Halfway along the road there is a short tunnel with romantic and sappy messages written on the walls. From the railway station to the town on the side of the hill you have to walk through an underground passage with murals depicting how the ancestors of the village built it up with their bare hands, earth and wood. Beyond the passage is the town"s steep main street, Via C. Colombo, lined with restaurants, kiosks and souvenir shops. On the other side of the train station is the small marina of Río Maggiore, where fishing boats and the five fishing villages" sea cruises often dock. The rocky hills on either side of the pier are lined with tall buildings with colourful paintwork adding to the lovely atmosphere of the pier. A short walk south from the pier leads to Fossola beach, where you can see the vegetation and seabirds, play on the beach, go shallow or hire canoes and rafts.

Serravalle Premium Outlets
Located 50 minutes from Milan, halfway between Milan and Genoa, Serravalle Premium Outlets is the first and largest outlet in Italy. It has a wide range of shops with the biggest international brands and enjoys discounts of between 30% and 70% all year round. The Ligurian architecture of Serravalle itself is also a sight to behold, making you feel like you are in an exotic kingdom while shopping. If you visit during the sale season, you can also enjoy discounts on top of discounts, which is a great value. Main brands: Baldinini, Bar Panperfocaccia, Bassetti (C"è Bassetti), Bose, Bottega Verde, Brioni, Brooks Brothers, Brums, Bulgari, Burberry (Shoes) Burberry Man, Burberry Woman, Burger King / Spizzico, Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Underwear, Calzedonia / Intimissimi, Camicissima Camper, Cerruti 1881, Diesel, Diesel Kids, Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared2, Ermenegi
