Athens - Poloponesa Peninsula - Athens

Full day
Depart around 9:00am. The Peloponnese Peninsula, known as the ,Moria Peninsula,, is located in the south of Greece and is surrounded by sea on three sides. After breakfast, depart from your hotel and travel to the Poloponesa Peninsula, passing through the Corinth Canal, known as the Panama Canal of Europe, to the town of Naiplius, the first capital of Greece after independence.

Corinth Canal
The Corinth Canal, known as the Panama Canal of Europe, is an ancient Greek canal and the third largest man-made canal in the world, serving as an important link between the Aegean Sea and the Ionian Sea. The canal is 6,343 metres long, 25 metres wide and about 80 metres deep from bank to bank, with a spectacular view of the vertical, neatly cut cliffs on either side, and if you are lucky, you may happen to see a boat passing through the cliffs between the blue water and the blue sky.

The town of Naplian
According to Greek mythology, Naplian was built by and named after Nafplios, son of Poseidon, the god of the sea, and the province of Amymonasso. And in more recent times it has also been an important military fortress due to the frequent traffic of several countries. Naplian is a small town by the sea, with cosy hotels, romantic streets, quaint cafés and uniquely decorated souvenir shops that are a favourite with visitors. The goose-yellow walls of the houses and the slow pace of life in the town attract people who have been living in the city for a long time to take a break and relax, so close your eyes and take a short walk along one of the streets and you may find that the sea breeze brings you surprises and beauty on your trip.

Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus
The Epidaurus Theatre, built 2500 years ago, is famous for its amazing acoustics, even from the top of the stage, where the sound of a coin falling on the floor can be heard from the middle of the stage, giving the audience in every part of the building an excellent audio-visual experience.
As you look around, the dappled steps and stone chairs silently speak of its past, a historical stage that has witnessed the changes and shifts of history over the centuries. Surrounded by rolling hills, the theatre is still in good condition and still in use today, with a capacity of over 10,000 people. Every year in July and August, performances are held here and the place is then crowded with people. It is a shrine to Asclepias, the god of healing, and the annual Epidarus celebration is held here. The temple of Asclepius, the god of medicine, and the museum are also highlights of the site.

Optional activities and entrance fees: Epidaurus €12 per person (entrance fees are subject to seasonal changes and are subject to change without notice)

Athens - Santorini

Full day
At 6:00 am (breakfast will be packed by the hotel) we will depart for our cruise to Santorini Island. Enjoy the softness of the Aegean Sea and a light meal on board (meal on your own account) while you enjoy the freshness of the sea breeze.

Santorini Island
Santorini, the most famous island in the Aegean Sea, was not what it is today, nor was it called that; it was formerly known as Stronghyle (Strongili), meaning "round", and the Holy Island was formerly a large, round island. It is said that the ash that accumulated on the island after the eruption was 30 metres thick. The most beautiful island in the world was surrounded by a sunken crater, and the many eruptions before the last one in 1650 caused the centre of the island to collapse, only to slowly transform the formerly round island into a beautiful curved moon shape, and when night falls on the dark blue Aegean Sea Santorini becomes an elegant moon reflecting the beauty of its surroundings. As we return to the clear daylight, we board the cruise ship to the ,Moon Palace, and enjoy the softness of the Aegean Sea while you enjoy a light meal on board (meal on your own) to feel the freshness of the sea breeze.

Oia
The most precious thing in Greece is not only the churches and towns with blue roofs and white houses, but also the fleeting moments of good times. Here you"ll find narrow, stone-paved paths built into the hills, a collection of unique shops and colourful old buildings, but most famously, the most beautiful sunsets in the world. One of Santorini"s most famous towns, Oia was a gift from the ancient Byzantine Queen to lovers everywhere, with its dazzling cobbled paths, elegant houses, bright flowers and bird"s nest-like rooftops and the unique blue Greek sky echoing the crystal glow of the Aegean Sea around you... ...a sanctuary for lovers to hold hands and for those who wish to make a promise for life. Around the corner, you"ll find a lovely little swimming pool, so why not change into a nice swimming costume and have a little fun with your lover and friends, then lounge under a parasol and enjoy the Greek atmosphere all to yourself!

Santorini Full Day

Full day
After breakfast, we drive to the highest point of the island, Mount Pigos. Here you will not only have a perfect view of Santorini"s curved moon, but also of the island"s lovely homes, so if you love photography, you won"t want to miss this opportunity to take home ,all, of Santorini.

The town of Pyrgos
The town of Pyrgos, once the administrative capital of Santorini and later replaced by Fira, is located on the hills, the highest point of Santorini, and offers a stunning view of the island. Pigos is the oldest town on Santorini and has the most original Greek architecture. The town is built on a hill, with narrow stone paths, donkeys, quiet whitewashed cottages and rose-coloured flower clusters blooming outside the windows. The town is not as gorgeous as Oia, but the simplest of the island"s real life.

Perissa Black Beach
One of Santorini"s famous beaches, in the small town of Perissa, is a long stretch of black sand and gravel deposited by the volcanic ash from the eruption. Because of its black colour, the beach absorbs heat so well that it is almost impossible to stand or sit on it barefoot. Stroll along this black beach, play in the romantic blue Aegean Sea and laugh under your own Greek sky. ...... Volcanic rock and ash deposits mixed with white sand make the water here look even cleaner and more transparent, and it must be said that the sea water here also has a beauty effect! Perhaps you can see the characteristic reed shelters and comfortable loungers on the beach for visitors to rest, so if you"re tired you can take a nap here, it really is a great place to relax!

Santorini Island - Fira Town

Full day
Today"s itinerary: After breakfast, travel to Fira, the capital of Santorini. During the tour, you can take an optional donkey ride on the cliff tops or take the cable car to get a deeper insight into the mysteries of Santorini. After lunch, return to Athens on a cruise ship to experience the Aegean Sea once again.
Fira Town
Fira is the capital of the Greek Aegean island of Santorini. It is a traditional settlement. Fira is actually a different pronunciation of the ancient name for the island, Sylla. Fira is a town of white houses built on the edge of a volcano 400 metres high on the western edge of the semi-circular island of Sylla. In the heart of Fira are restaurants and cafes of all colours built on the cliffs of the volcano, and the white roofs, which undulate in a series, are a unique feature of the landscape, as if each dwelling, each house, had a life, and they were quietly gathered together just to convey a rare peace and quiet. Modern Greek churches, museums with all kinds of Greek treasures, beautiful bow-shaped hotels, pubs next to cliffs ......, where every heart in the midst of the world"s noise and restlessness can slowly settle down until it finds itself again in the depths of its soul. On this day, you can also choose to go on a donkey ride on the cliffs or take the cable car to learn more about the mysteries of Santorini.

Prices for optional extras: donkey ride 6 euros per person (one way), cable car 6 euros per person (one way).

Athens

Full day
After breakfast, at 9:00am we will visit Athens, the capital of Greece. Enjoy the stunning Acropolis, the long history of folk culture, the warmth of the people, the glory of Athens as it once was, and the warmth of modern Athens. After a short break for lunch, we will visit the Athens Arena, the site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, the Presidential Palace in front of which you can expect the handover ceremony of the guards, and finally the old town of PLAKA in turn.

Ardicus Theatre (exterior)
The three-storey building, with 32 rows of seating for up to 6,000 spectators, is a relatively typical semi-circular amphitheatre with a very sophisticated and logical design. At any point in the venue you can see the performances on stage, which have since been subjected to fire and foreign invasion, and have seen numerous trials and tribulations, ups and downs. So there is a strong sense of historical vicissitude here.

The Acropolis
The Acropolis is located in the south-west of central Athens, perched on a hill over 150 metres high and steep on all sides, and is a landmark of the city and a symbol of ancient Greece. The Acropolis consists of the ancient buildings of the Parthenon, the Temple of Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena, which are believed to have been inhabited as early as 2800 BC and where the king of Athens built his palace over a thousand years later. The Acropolis is 280 metres long from east to west and 130 metres wide at its widest point from north to south. The terrain is treacherous, with only one access point up and down the west side, making it a fortified military fortress.
The Acropolis, one of the seven architectural wonders of the world, is a must-see on our trip. When the beautiful goddess Athena threw the olive branch as a symbol of peace to the people, she was also given the sacred right to guard the Acropolis. Now, after so many years, the ancient city is in ruins, but without a trace of desolation, so that everyone who visits it can"t help but reminisce about the memories carved in time.
Optional activities and entrance fees: Acropolis €20 per person (entrance fees are subject to seasonal changes and are subject to change without notice)

The Parthenon
At the heart of the Acropolis" ancient complex stands the Parthenon, built in the 5th century BC, representing the pinnacle of ancient Greek civilisation from a time when the world was at its most advanced. Although its roof has crumbled and the reliefs have been stripped away by the passage of time, you can still see in its lofty ruins the magnificence of this former Greek building, which is indeed a "hundred-footed worm that never dies". The temple, made of white marble, was designed with the golden ratio favoured by the Greeks, but also with a number of uncanny architectural techniques that still baffle many experts and scholars today.

The Temple of Zeus
The Temple of The Oympian Zeus, built in 470 BC and completed in 456 BC, was designed by the architect Libon and the statue of Zeus by the sculptor Pheidias. It is famous for its statues in ivory and gold. The temple of Zeus was the religious centre of ancient Greece and one of the most important buildings of early European antiquity, with the stone statues in front and behind the temple carved from marble from the island of Pylos. It was not until 86 BC that the Roman commander Sulla captured Athens and destroyed the unfinished building, taking down part of the stone columns and other building materials before transporting them to Rome.

Optional items and admission prices: Temple of Zeus 6 euros per person (admission prices are subject to seasonal changes and without notice)

Temple of Erechtheion
The Greek temple of Erechtheion, built in 395 BC, has a wooden statue of Athena inside and six caryatids on the south terrace of the temple, which are a variation of the Ionic style; the graceful columns seen today are perfectly constructed and do not give an unnatural visual appearance, although these are not authentic and have been replaced by replicas due to air pollution. To see the real thing, you have to go to the Acropolis Museum and the British Museum in London.

Old town of Plaka
In Plaka, Athens" most walkable district, many 19th century streets and interconnected alleyways remain, where visitors can experience the Greek ethnicity and shop for exotic souvenirs in the small shops that line the streets. Location-wise, Plaka is surrounded by green spaces and ruins such as the National Park, the Temple of Zeus and the Acropolis in the city centre, with the core area consisting of Kydatheneon Street running east-west and Adrianou Street running north-south. Here, inexpensive restaurants and cafes mingle wonderfully with the ruins of ancient buildings, and the life of the townspeople and the constant flow of tourists from all over the world can be seen, as well as a variety of souvenir shops, little Muslim girls selling flowers and street performers with their own skills, making the walk an open-ended experience.

Pan-Athena Stadium
This horseshoe-shaped arena has a rich history, as it was the site of the first modern International Olympic Games in 1896. Dating back to the Pan-Athenian Congress of 331 BC, the venue was initially very modest until the Roman era when it was renovated with marble spectator stands, and later in the late 17th century when the ancient Greek arena was restored at the expense of wealthy Greek tycoons Zaba and Avinov. The open-air walk is like watching a documentary film without the cuts.

Optional items and ticket prices for reference: Pan-Athena Stadium €5 per person (tickets subject to seasonal price changes and without notice)
