Valencia
The city of Valencia is located in the south-east of Spain, bordered by the sea to the east and backed by vast plains, with a pleasant climate in all seasons, and is known as a jewel on the west coast of the Mediterranean. With a current population of around 800,000, it is the third largest city in the country. Valencia"s coastline is mostly straight and flat, except north of Alicante, where the mountains reach down to the sea. The coastline is rocky and beautiful, with long stretches of beach glistening with white gravel, known as the ,white coast,. The most famous tourist destination on this coastline, Benidorm, used to be a small, quiet fishing village, but now more than a million people come here in the summer to escape the heat. The city is surrounded by mountains, ancient trees, cliffs and flying clouds, making it a perfect place to escape the cold. Classic and new villas and hotels are hidden among the palm trees, yachts ply the calm Persian Gulf, and swimmers run along the white sandy beaches. To the south of Alicante is a bustling town and a traditional Spanish retreat, with a beautiful seafront boulevard covered with huge palm trees.

The Old City Gate of Valencia
The Old City Gate of Valencia, built in the fourteenth century, is located in the north-east of the old town and is an important part of Valencia"s old city walls, a masterpiece of Gothic military architecture. Like the Torres de Quart, it is still a magnificent sight to see the damage that has been done to the Old City Gate over the years.
(This site is not available for internal tours)

Plaza de la Virgen de Valencia
In the middle of the square stands the famous fountain of the Tulia River, with a male statue half reclining, half sitting on a raised platform, surrounded by a number of nymphs in various poses, either holding or clutching jars of water, and a continuous stream of water that makes a dramatic splash. This is also where the annual flower-laying ceremony of the Virgin Mary takes place on the Feast of Fayal. The open-air cafés around the square are a great place to enjoy the view of Valencia"s old town.

Valencia Cathedral
The Cathedral is a landmark of Valencia, built on the site of a 3rd century mosque, which has been remodelled and renovated over a long period of time in a mixture of architectural styles.

(This site is not accessible)

Valencia City of Science and Art
When it comes to examples of Spain"s futuristic architecture, Valencia"s Ciudad de las Artes Científicas is a must-see.  The City of Science and Arts is divided into the IMAX cinema, a hemispherical symbol for the Eye of Knowledge, the fishbone Prince Felipe Science Museum, the Queen Sofia Theatre, Europe"s largest oceanarium with over 40,000 marine creatures and the Golden Barrier Bridge. The crystal clear waters of the pool and the flawless blue sky form the most perfect combination for a relaxing local holiday.

Benidorm [€20 per person on your own]
Benidorm is located in the south-east of Spain and is part of the province of Alicante. Benidorm is a modern tourist town, built on the Mediterranean coast, with a mountainous terrain. When you enter Benidorm, you are actually in the Costa Blanca region of Spain. Despite its small size, the city is full of high-rise buildings, most of which are star hotels, so you can imagine how the tourism industry is flourishing. Benidorm is also known as the ,Little Hong Kong of Spain,. In addition to the high rise buildings, the prices are relatively low compared to the first tier cities in Spain, much like the free trade port of Hong Kong.

In the morning, you will visit Valencia Cathedral, where you will feel the devotion of the people and the perfect blend of science and art in the City of Science and Art.

This is the birthplace of flamenco, and whether it is joyful or sad, Seville"s dance is always spirited and powerful.

Sevilla Cathedral
Sevilla Cathedral is the most famous building in Sevilla, one of the "Big Three" of the world, along with the Basilica di San Pietro in Vatican and St Paul"s Cathedral in London. Maria Luisa Park
Located in Sevilla (Spain), the Maria Luisa Park is one of the city"s most famous public gardens and parks and one of the city"s green lungs. Originally part of the private gardens belonging to the San Telmo Palace, these areas were donated to the city of Sevilla in 1893 by Princess Maria Luisa Fernanda de Bulfon (Duchess of Montpensier) as a park. It was decorated by the French engineer Jean-Claude Nicolas Frères, who created a very romantic garden inspired by the garden of La Rive, the royal palace of Seville Castle.

Plaza de España
The Plaza de España in Seville was built in 1929 as a square-type building for the Ibero-American World Exhibition. The square is semi-circular in shape, with a Romanesque fountain in the centre, a ribbon of water around the straight north-west side, and red brick buildings with connecting corridors on the curved side. Outside the square are sparse woods and woodland paths where horse-drawn carriages with red or yellow wheels are parked on the tree-shaded paths.

Holy Cross
The old quarter of Seville, with its typical Andalusian style, was renovated between 1912 and 1920, but still retains its old-fashioned atmosphere.

The Golden Tower
The Golden Tower is an Arabian-style fortress, named after the gold dusting around it, or, according to legend, because it was once a vault for gold. According to legend, it was the first stop in Spain when Columbus returned from his colonial invasion of the Americas and unloaded a large amount of gold and jewellery, which was temporarily stored here.

Sevilla Bullring
The Plaza de toros de Sevilla is the oldest bullring in Spain. It is the site of Sevilla"s annual ,Festival of Abril,, one of the most famous bullfighting festivals in the world. The square is considered one of the city"s most enjoyable tourist attractions and is certainly one of the most visited. As a bullfighting arena, it is considered one of the most challenging environments in the world because of its long history, its distinctive character and the fact that its audience is considered one of the most ruthless bullfighting fans.
