Charming Barcelona Day Trip (from Barcelona)

Quer Park.
The Parque Quer is one of Barcelona"s brightest attractions and an exemplary example of garden design in Gaudi"s many works. The man-made landscape looks more natural than the natural landscape. The use of colour and line is at its best. The view of the city can be seen from high above the park.

Plaza de España
The Plaza de España in Seville was built in 1929 as a plaza for the Ibero-American World"s Fair. The square is semi-circular in shape, with a Romanesque fountain in the center, a belt of water encircling the straight northwest side, red brick buildings with connecting corridors on the sides of the arc, two towers at either end of the arc as the high point of the square, and several undulating towers in the center for visitors to climb. Beyond the square are sparse woods and forest paths, where carriages on red or yellow wheels park on shaded paths.

Rambla Avenue
Rambla Avenue is located in Barcelona and is the first wide street in the city. It is also better known as the Street of the Vagabonds, because of the variety of vagabonds who perform here, and the various life-size sculptures that line its streets. The long "ribbon" that runs from Plaza Catalunya down to the port area is more than 1,800 meters long and is divided into five main sections, the most famous of which are the Flora Street and the street where the city is located.

Cathedral of the Holy Family
Located in the northern part of downtown Barcelona, the Cathedral of the Holy Family is Barcelona"s most prestigious tourist attraction and landmark, and the only building in the world to be inscribed on the World Heritage List before it is completed. The construction of the church was initiated by an organization called Josephine with the aim of building a church of atonement where decadent people could pray to God and ask for forgiveness for their sins, and was taken over as chief architect in 1883 by the 31-year-old architectural genius Gaudi.
